Do you accept my insurance plan?

Yes we accept most insurance plans but it is your responsibility to know the details of your plan and to bring your insurance card with you to your appointments. Please see the Billing and Insurance section of our website for a complete list of insurance plans that we accept.

When do I come in for my first prenatal appointment?

Generally we would like to see you two weeks after you have missed a period at about six to eight weeks. If you are considered high risk for a tubal pregnancy you should be seen as soon as you know you are pregnant. At your first prenatal appointment we will confirm your pregnancy.

Who will deliver my baby?

During your prenatal care, you will schedule appointments with each of our obstetricians. That way you will be familiar with the obstetrician on call who will deliver your baby.

Is the practice taking new patients?

Yes, North Atlanta Ob/Gyn is always accepting new patients. *certain restrictions may apply

How old should a woman be for her first gynecological exam?

The woman should make an appointment when she is 21 or when she is sexually active.

Is there a cancellation fee for missed appointment?

We currently ask for a 24 hour notice if you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment. We charge a $50 cancellation fee however we ask that you make every effort to keep your appointment as scheduled or notify our office in a timely manner.

Is there a fee for medical records requests?

Yes there is an administrative service fee or ASF that is assessed once per year for all GYN patients and an ASF fee that is charged once per pregnancy. This fee covers any documentation or forms that the patient needs to be completed during that time period.
